2018 Summer 6 A-Side Information

The 6 A-Side Competition in all age groups is now full. Team that have submitted expression of interest and have been accepted to play need to complete the team registration form and email it to as well as have the players go online and register and pay the registration fees.

If you still want to nominate a team, please email and we will put you on the waiting list and if any team withdrawals we will contact you.

The club would like to thanks all club members, supports and other clubs that donated to the Dilly Drought Drive fundraiser, held at Liquidamber on Saturday 4th of August. Donations totaled $721 and the club matched the money raised and deposited $1,500 to the fundraiser. Great work by Lisa Shell for the initiative.


The club would like to thank those that attended the Trivia night in July, the club would also like to thank all the sponsors and companies that donated items for the raffles and auctions. The club raised approx. $3,500 on the night.




The MDFRA will be running a L4 Referee Entrance course and we would like to attract as many participants as possible, especially females and any persons age 18+. MDFRA advised that if 2 people from our club attend and complete the course they will waive the fee for the course. Please go to for more information

COLOURED VEST PROGRAM – Macarthur Football have implemented a coloured vest program, the following is an overview of the program:-

BLUE COACHES VEST – This is worn by the coach of a team in the technical area so the coach can be identified by either the referee or club officials. Only 1 person is to wear the blue vest for each team. (Blue vests are only required for competitive games U12’s and up)

ORANGE TEAM OFFICAL VEST – This is worn by one of the spectators of your team, the person wearing the vest it to ensure the spectators of your team only are behaving. The person wearing the orange vest is to be located in the spectator area, not standing in technical area with the coach.

YELLOW GROUND OFFICAL VEST – This vest is worn by a person acting as a ground official for the club, the person is responsible to assist coaches, managers players and referees if required with queries. They are also to ensure all spectators are well behaved and report any incidents back to club officials.

Please Note:- The following is from the Referees association and Macarthur:-

Blue vests are required from under 12 and up i.e. Competition matches….. the MFA Coloured vest program is in the Club’s operations manual for reference.

“Unoffical” Referee Policy.

Macarthur have issued the following Policy as a guide to clubs, coaches, managers and players in reference to unofficial referees officiating games where referees have not been appointed to the game.

New Ban on Smoking in Spectator Areas of Sports Grounds or other Recreational Areas during Organised Sport Events

 The NSW government has introduced a new ban on smoking in spectator areas of sports grounds or other recreational areas while organised sporting events are being held.

This ban came into effect on 7 January 2013.

Please refer to the information provided in the attached NO SMOKING FACT SHEET.  Fines of up to $550 apply for breaches.

Most Councils have already installed signage at their Council venues, however as you can see from the attached factsheet, it is not necessary for signage to be erected for the ban to apply.
