Over 1,000 Registered Players

The club has gone past the 1,000 registered players again for the 2019 season, this is the 4th year in a row the club has exceed the 1,000 mark.

Vacant Positions/Players Wanted

The club has limited spots in the following age groups, if you/your child is looking to play this season, please contact the club registrar via email at rangersregistrar@gmail.com and he will work with you to get registered.

Under 6’s  – up to 8 spots
Under 7’s – up to 4 spots
Under 8’s – up to 7 spots
Under 9’s – up to 4 spots
Under 10’s – up to 7 spots
Under 11’s – up to 7 spots
Under 12’s  – up to 2 spots
Under 13’s – up to 5 spots
Under 14’s – Goal Keeper Required
Under 16’s – up to 1 spot

Under 12 Girls – Are Looking for 3 Players, Goal Keeper and 2 on field players. Can be 10 turning 11 and want to play in all girls team and competition with a great bunch of kids.
Under 14 Girls – up to 1 spot
Under 16 Girls – up to 2 spots

All Age Men’s – up to 6 spots

2019 Winter Season Registrations

The 2019 season is fast approaching, the FFA have implemented an new registration system for the 2019 season and beyond.

Registration for all players/volunteers now involves the creation of a Football Account. This process is simply based on your email address (Not FFA Number as per previous seasons) and allows the linking of family members to streamline the registration process.

To begin the creation of Your Football Account process, you must create your account be clicking on the attached link click here.

Please note:- You must create you account, then register and pay online via the below link. The club doesn’t have the ability to register players with this new system.

The new Online Self Registration instructions on how to register and web-link is attached below, please note that when registering online, you will be required to upload a new photo, to complete the registration process, you must make payment as part of the online registration process. If you don’t make payment then the system doesn’t register you/your child.

Reminder for players enrolled in a NSW school,  you are eligible for the Active Kids Voucher which entitles you to a $100 discount on registration fees.

All of the SSG teams (u6 to U10’s) will be rolled over and the players will remain together. If you are new to the club or have a special request to play in a specific team/player, please email the club

The MDFRA will be running a L4 Referee Entrance course and we would like to attract as many participants as possible, especially females and any persons age 18+. COLOURED VEST PROGRAM – Macarthur Football have implemented a coloured vest program, the following is an overview of the program:-

BLUE COACHES VEST – This is worn by the coach of a team in the technical area so the coach can be identified by either the referee or club officials. Only 1 person is to wear the blue vest for each team. (Blue vests are only required for competitive games U12’s and up)

ORANGE TEAM OFFICAL VEST – This is worn by one of the spectators of your team, the person wearing the vest it to ensure the spectators of your team only are behaving. The person wearing the orange vest is to be located in the spectator area, not standing in technical area with the coach.

YELLOW GROUND OFFICAL VEST – This vest is worn by a person acting as a ground official for the club, the person is responsible to assist coaches, managers players and referees if required with queries. They are also to ensure all spectators are well behaved and report any incidents back to club officials.

“Unoffical” Referee Policy.

Macarthur have issued the following Policy as a guide to clubs, coaches, managers and players in reference to unofficial referees officiating games where referees have not been appointed to the game.

New Ban on Smoking in Spectator Areas of Sports Grounds or other Recreational Areas during Organised Sport Events

 The NSW government has introduced a new ban on smoking in spectator areas of sports grounds or other recreational areas while organised sporting events are being held.

This ban came into effect on 7 January 2013.

Please refer to the information provided in the attached NO SMOKING FACT SHEET.  Fines of up to $550 apply for breaches.

Most Councils have already installed signage at their Council venues, however as you can see from the attached factsheet, it is not necessary for signage to be erected for the ban to apply.
